Hatha Yoga


Hatha yoga is a system of yoga that utilises movement and breathing to increase both the physical and emotional well being of the yoga practitioner. It focuses on Asanas (Postures) and Pranayama (Breathing) to build up basic strength and flexibility throughout the whole body.

The word Hatha is a Sanskrit combination of the word ha (sun) and tha (moon). Qualities associated with the sun are heat and masculinity while the qualities associated with the moon are coolness and femininity.

Hatha yoga is designed to help us bring pairs of opposites together in our body and mind. Exhale your stresses away with yoga. Improve both your physical and emotional well being through the various postures and breathing techniques in this course.
