It
feels like 2017 has barely started, but in a blink of an eye, the June school
holidays have already begun. Kick start the holidays by bringing the family down for some fun under the sun with us at the Army Open House at the F1 Pit this weekend!
The celebrations begin with the
opening ceremony on 27 May (Sat) all the way to 29 May (Mon) at the F1
Pit. After the weekend, the Army Open House will make its way down to the open
field at Heartland
(Punggol) from 2-4 Jun and Heartland (Jurong East) from 9-11 Jun.
Let
your hair down and take part in battle rides and interactive games. Walk through the exhibits and enjoy some good
food and drinks along the way. To top it all off, the Special Operations Task
Force will be simulating a dynamic defence display for the first time! You can
also expect local favourites like the parachuting Red Lions.
After
a day at the Army Open House, enjoy endless fun for the whole family at Families
for Life Celebrations in conjunction with Car-Free Sunday. As part of an
ongoing effort to strengthen family ties, the Families for Life
Council has organised a line-up of fun-filled activities. Get ready for an
epic day of activities from Breakfast Picnic at Padang to a Duathlon along
Civic District.
